BREED SPECIFIC SEMINAR 2018
We held a successful Breed Specific Seminar with Assessments on 10 February 2018 at Mappleborough Green Village Hall in Warwickshire.
The Presenter was David Reece (Copymear) who had the attendee's attention at all times with his knowledge of the breed and some amusing stories. He was helped with his presentation by Marie Smith (Garbrielbelle) who produced the booklet with him.
The event was administered and adjudicated by Tony Allcock MBE (Sleepyhollow) who helped ensure that we followed the new KC guidelines for this type of event. Lynn Hill (Becanna) helped him with the administration.
Assessors on the day were Steve Rooney (Yorone), Sandra Stangoe (Stanghurst) and Lyn Ison (Lynpix).
A wonderful lunch was provided by Sue Lee (Ridgehawk).
We had really good feedback on the day.
Some facts and figures:
Multi-Choice Breed Specific questionnaire pass rate was 81%
The Hands On/Judging Competency Test pass rate was 60%
63% of Attendees were "in the breed".
The Committee would like to thank David, Tony and Sue for their time and effort and also those who provided dogs for the attendees to go over.
We look forward to another similar event - probably in 2020.
